Pressure is pressure, no matter one's age.
I loved the above zine because of it's honesty. The lack of blue feels like depression.
It's interesting to look at the illustrations out of order.
Happily, this student is in working order. He's just tuned into a numbness that is building as he becomes more indecisive about his future.
Today, I will remind him to slow down. Our next zine has a theme-- breathe.
Blue has evoked the most interesting connections from my Creative Writing students. As seniors, they are on the cusp of graduation. While sadness seems like a simple association for the color blue, their references ran deep.
